Verizon DSL & web site problems
Just recently got Verizon DSL and transferred 2 webpages form my old dial-up isp that have worked for several years with no problems.A couple php programs that I wrote don't work on DSL.One was a Hit counter and verizon suggested that I use a CGI counter that they have on one of their pages. I copied the simplist one they had but it didn't work. I get an error that it can't find "counter2.exe" which should be on their server. I have talked to several Verizon Techs but they know nothing about webpages and refuse to get help for me. I ran a test program(phpinf.php) which did not work either which probably means their CGI isn't working because it requires php script.
Does anyone know if it is possible to use CGI on Verizon?? I would appreciate any suggestions on how to get more information about wep pages on Verizon because it looks like I won't be getting it from them.
