I need to get this Open Source app installed on my dedicated server but when I look at the installation instructions I feel sick!!! It seems to be way above my comfort level.

Anyone here installed it, did you manage to do it without a hitch? Any hints?

i installed bugzilla about 3 weeks ago on my dedicated server. Took me ages and i just followed the instructions. I needed to install a load of extra libraries for it and recompile apache but i got there in the end. Unless anyone here can help, i don't know how to explain it really easily, i would suggest writing your own project bug tracker or maybe get another one that is more simple if you can't install this one.

Try jsut taking time to sit and read through the instructions a couple of times and then follow them to the letter.
