Don't do the background thing, personally I find it annoying as will many people visiting your site. More importantly the song will reset each page load, I haven't found a suitable solution for continous play throughout a site besides frames and I hate using frames. BTW if anyone has a suggestion I'd like to hear it myself.

My solution is simple, just open the player in a new window from a link on your page. You can use JS to pop it up in a small window to give it the "feel" of a player. From there the possibilites are endless. You can either use frames, one with the player and the other with song links. Use Javascript for a drop menu etc....

For drop down menu using javavscript and about a milion other solutions see this link:

Sorry I wasn't being specific.

First, you need the song, rename the song to song. Now put that song where your HTML files are all located, the actual pages to the site, now

Now take the code I gave above, and copy it, and paste it where you want the song to appear. You can do this in notepad, or dreamweaver. But if you are using a html editor, don't insert it in the display part, you want to make sure you insert it into the code part. Now you just want to change ??? to mp3, wmv, wav, etc.. Whatever the extension to your song is, needs to be put there, or it won't work.

Save, and test it out.

If you're still having trouble, can you give a link to your site so I can tell you exactly where to put it?
