Microsoft Visual Web Developer
Hi
I was wondering if anyone has used the above software? I have a book on it and I am getting along fine. However. it shows how to create a database which is quite easy but it wont go beyond that as it is not in the scope of the book and I need to know how to set up a relationship between 2 or more tables.

I have done this in Microsoft access and its easy, as I have shown in the attachment. There is a relationship tag in VWD but it doent do the same thing and im a bit lost.

I have a book table and an author table and I need to relate them using a foreign key but not sure how to do it. If someone has done it I would be really grateful

Gus

Hi
Its just a way of relating tables. If a customer has a credit card, by linking customerNo in customer table to CustomerNo in the credit cards table then you will be able to see what customer has what cards.

Wish I knew how to do it in this prog. The book I have suggested getting the same book but relating to My Sql. Not sure if it would use the same software though and I am familiar with my SQL anyway.
