Yeah I'm pretty sure it's down.
I used to be an admin there, get a few people to go to the site (including Knight47), and what do you think the owner does... he takes away my admin rights
That's why I took the link out of my signature.....

Hmm, well if the server was down you would get a "Page timed out error" in firefox, and "Page cannot be displayed" in internet explorer, but since i don't get either of these i would say its probably something else. Does you site use MySQL db's along with kinght's? If they do it could be the MySQL server went down and you'll see a blank page if this is what happened. If this isn't the case they could just be doing some work on thje server at the momment. -cnelson.

It's like that on all xenweb sites, including mine and not every area has a db, but ever area is like that. The site just comes up as a blank white nothingness.

Edit: Sites without databases NOW seem to work (before no site worked, even sites without databases). The main xenweb site still doesn't work, but it has a database...

at hostgator, they are very responsive, but i still got a scare a week or so ago

first, my site went down
then, i could log onto my cPanel, but no databases nor files appeared
about 10 minutes later, my files reappeared but still no dbs
i went to their tech support (i love live chat) and they said that they couldn't find any db backups for my site...luckily, they reappeared about 15 minutes later

Of course he pays

But you don't!

So he is spending money and not receiving anything.

If you suspect your server is down, do a traceroute or a ping request to its IP.

You can use the tools at DNS Stuff and of course ping in the windows command utility.

MMJ is right giovanni, your expecting way too much from free hosting. Web hosting and a domain only costs a couple of dollars a month!
