Selling a Template, Want Feedback...
Hello handy people and fellow tech support guy members.

I created a template that I plan to sell on SitePoint and was wondering if you could give me some feedback on it before I create the listing.

The template is 100% Valid XHTML "Strict" and the CSS is valid as well.

Thanks!

There should be some pics attached

It is quite nice but i think a template should at least have links on the top & on the side.

Ya, I know what you mean about the links. I was thinking maybe the "advertising space" block could be sacrificed for this. Thanks for your feedback. Anyone else?

How much are you going to sell it for?

I haven't really decided, yet. I was thinking along the lines of $25 - $50 for full rights, but maybe a little more.

What do you thinks its worth?

Here are some suggestions:

>Put Contact near About or offset them both to the right.

>Make the top nav bar text smaller.

>Ad(s) right next to the title? It's best to have ads on the far side where they are easily distinguished from the main content.

Otherwise it's a great template.

UPDATE: I made a few minor changes to it. I moved the contact over to the left, so it would be next to the "about" link.

After I made the changes I posted it on SitePoint last night, hopefully it will sell, I think I priced it a bit high though. I started the bid at $20 and put a "Buy It Now" at $30. It ends this weekend so if I don't get any hits on it by Friday or Saturday, I'll lower the price.

Heres the link if you wanna check it out.

I attached a pic of what it looks like now

Something about the header/bar fonts just bugs me a bit - I'm not sure what it is though.
I like the main content font but I would try experimenting with changing the header/link bar fonts and see if you can find something that looks really nice.
