We have 3 websites started in the 1990's. We used Miva for our msg bd. and it was fine. We transferred the 3 websites to GoDaddy and lost the boards. GoDaddy is trying to work with us and went so far as the get the Miva system GoDaddy must have for Miva to work. Of course we never dreamed this would happen. There are over 3,000 posts from Veterans on one of the boards and abt 1500 on the Horse Q&A board. I did manage to get the msg part to list one time but it did not include who they were from or the questions. The Q&A board was to become a book but cannot without the names and questions. We are working with 3 computers, Dell laptop WinXP, HPDesk WinXP both Pro, and Desk set using Win2000 Pro. We are keeping the 2000 so we can work with the older computers. Most of the Veterans will not upgrade that often.

Someone said the boards would work with Linex so GO Daddy switched the websites to Linex (spelling?).. I think we have to switch back as they did that before they got the Miva system and it was working fine with Windows before.

Any suggestions on how to make miva work. We did download the Borards before we changed.
