web tracking service opinion
I am trying to get statistics on my website. such as how visitors per day, where they come from, (country), frequency of visiting and other information. I went to do some research and I came across two services which I like. yet they are ad supported. I am looking for other alternatives.
there fore I am asking for opinions from you all. it is best to be freeware. I don't mind ads if they are limited choices

Google Analytics is exactly what you are looking for. Everything you mentioned can be done, and much much more.

www.google.com/analytics

Here is a screen shot I just took, note all the other things you can do on the left side, this is just a simple repserentation of what analytics can do.

The only down side is that you have to place a small javascript code in every page you want tracked. This can easily be done though if you have Find and Replace button though, dreamweaver can do this, and search within a folder of pages.
