Question problem with ASP
Hello All ,

I have project done by ASP on share this project on my pc not work

mean: I share this project then go to default web site thee right click on any file (asp) then select browse give me " the page not found" but on browse any file (image,flash ) work

the files that have asp extension not work , the files that have any extension (never asp) work

what the problem ?

ASP pages have to be run from a web server, not right clicked on and opened.

yes i do that also

type localhost/"nameof sharing folder" also problem

I assume your running a server like IIS 5 with XPpro or NT, or IIS6 with server 2k3?

If you are using an apache server it wont work, asp requires windows servers ( IIS ) to run the asp componant scripts.
