Solved: Mousover Effect
How can perform a mouseover effect where if I move my mouse over a link, a definition box will appear? An example of this is at

http://www.eramountainproperties.com...geID%3d1983897

<a href="#" title="You will see this when you hover your mouse on me">Hover Link</a>

It also works for images and other things.

Huh, I don't see any "definition boxes"?

That site must be built for IE only???

Do you mean something like this?

If you put your mouse over some of the underlined terms in the ERA Answers. Go to http://www.eramountainproperties.com...geID%3d1983897 and move your mouse over the underlined terms under "Working with a Professional". I'm not talking about just alt/title text. I think maybe layers have something to do with it. Can someone help? Thanks.

For starters, the link is here;
http://www.era.com/erasell/answers-b...k-professional
not where you said it was...
View the source code and you will see the javascript that does that.

MMJ, I think that is but a small part of the code to do that, it requires the js to make that function work.

The code example I wrote for you does just that, its just a little fancier but you can remove the top box so it looks identical.

Yeah, of course thats not all the code. That just calls the function.

The function is located here: http://www.era.com/javascript/glossary.js
