Hi,

For the kind of thing you are after you are probably best to find a local web development company and discuss your requirements with them. This site is primarily concerned with providing specific tech support help for computing problems not a place to find developers for specific work.

You may find help here if you specify;

Your specific errors that you require help with ASAP!

I can referr you to several e-commerce applications, what payment types do you want to take and do you have your own SSL?

Explain what you mean by "build a 2.0 community"

If your interested in obtaining quotes to have your site redone, contact someone in your location (a web design company) and ask them for quotes. You can try to farm out your site to others on a freelance design bidding site but I don't recommend it personally because you don't know who your getting.

More than enough here willing to want to help you, but to bid on it, really....

Hi drcarolosb.

It appears that your site intentions differ from 800petmeds in that you are also including information articles as well as a shopping cart.

It would appear that you would be wanting something like a CMS script to handle your articles and news items as well as a shopping cart.

No matter who does it for you, it will not be a 5 minute job, and to pay someone to do this for you can run into a bit of loot.

There are many good scripts out there that will more than adequately handle your requirements but the time will have to be spent in modifying them to your needs.

By the look of your site, the articles are flat files, but I cannot pick out the cart.

As mentioned previously, why not sit down and determine what you actually need. For instance, an easy way to create and modify articles, create news items, retail your goods, have a forum included for people to ask questions, offer useful links, methods of payment for the products, the need to track manufacturers, to track resellers, to track stock levels, shipping, local taxes, etc, etc.

Once you can specify what you would like to happen on the site, we should be able to steer you to a more specific solution.

Most of the CMS scripts out these days are not huge ogres, and are relatively easy to modify, but shopping carts can be quite a pain at the best of times.
