My Website - Integrating Google Adsense!
Hey all,

I have google adsense on my webpage here at www.wearenoobs.com . I had no trouble getting it on there, but I am having trouble integrating it into my articles.

Here is an example of what I'm talking about, http://www.wearenoobs.com/archives/64

See how there is white space to the right of the advertisement? I would like my article to start up where that white space is, and move along the sides of the google advertisement. The way I put the advertisement in was opened up the .php file and simply put the code there so it shows on every page.

Any ideas as to how I would go about getting it to integrate the way I want? Thank you all in advance!!

Hi.

How about putting the adsense into a cell and floating the cell left. You should be able to contain the width that way too. Remember, if the ad is too wide, nothing will make sense.

My suggestion would be to give the adsense a max of 120, and narrow down the right column a bit. That way there is plenty of room for the page content.

I have also noticed that in IE6 the top navigation breaks.

hey deep,

Thanks for the tips, I'm still a beginner when it comes to coding, as you probably noticed I'm using wordpress so its all laid out for me. Would you mind pointing me in the right direction as to how I would contain it? I know I need to write the code up in CSS then call it in the .php file that contains my content.

And yes, I noticed this too, I'm still working that out. It's because of my advertisement at the top. When it's not there the nav works fine, when it is it breaks. Tough stuff! haha. Thanks again.
