Unhappy Dreamweaver 8 CSS / Browser preview help
Hi everyone,

I'm designing my site using a template, 3col_leftNav.css. The left column is 20% of the page, middle column 55%, and right column 20%. When I view the page in Internet explorer and the page is maximized, everything looks fine. When I click "Restore Down," the entire page has tables, pictures and text overlapping the column borders slightly and when you scroll to the right there is a huge white space after the third column. I notice that this site does something similar when you "restore down" the page - the Google Ads overlap the banner but everything looks fine when you maximize the screen.

What can I do to keep the different views the same and prevent the content from overlapping on the "restore down" view? I have tried changing the widths of the columns and tables within the columns to pixels and percentages but it hasn't made a difference. I appreciate your help.

You'd be better off using Divs, probably; although I'm no coding expert, tables are a thing of the past by all accounts.
