Post phpbb Error DP04
Hi there!

I am new here, so be nice

If you know anything about phpbb then you could help me. My free forum host has gone down (yes, i know its free... but still) alot of the users are having the same problem, and have posted on the support forum.

So i came here wondering if you guys would know anything about phpbb, and in particular DP04 error. If you could help me out, that would be great... Looks like an alright place here so I may stick around

The error message (exactly) is:

Code:
This board is not properly structured, please contact an administrator at http://forum.jconserv.net/ with the following error code: DP04
Direct Link to my personal forums

Cheers guys.

Pete

by reading the forums there, i found that the issue has been around for a while, and eventually it seems to clear up. Looks like you need to wait a bit and keep checking.

The support staff don't seem to be active or communicative, perhaps concider going somewhere else?

I've been with jcon for a while now, and do understand that this is a free service, so yeah... I was just wondering out of personal interest (if you knew) what the error is, the server? the client end?

I'd say currently that it's the server side.

SOunds tyo me like something is going on with their server, like directories are losing permissions etc.

BUT

I did find a thread on their support forums about this, and the member of staff said it was because the people in question were breaching the t&cs, although i don't see how most of the users there did as it semms a lot of people have this issue.

COuld also be being caused by updates or some server scripts that are deleting files or moving them. Can't realy say more as i have no idea what they are running.

Thanks

Harry
