semi transparent iframe isssue
i have a semi transparent i frame with background color set to white and opacity set to 50. when i put elements in the iframe (text and images), they inherit the transparency, how do i make them non transparent? any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am assuming you are using the opacity style for firefox/opera/etc. and a filter for IE to create the transparency.

As of right now if a container has transparency, then all elements inside that container will have the same transparency. You can set them to be even more transparent, but not less.

If you let us know more about what you are trying to do and maybe show us an example someone may know of a workaround or hack.

Exactly. Without knowing any other info, one thing the OP can do is place the background inside the DIV as a standalone image, adjust the opacity of that, and then put the content that goes over the background in a DIV that is positioned over the background DIV. This kind of thing is described in this thread.
