I have been using ipower.com for my web server for a number of years. They are changing platforms. I am in the new platform and now they cannot publish Frontpage Extensions from Expression web.(the upgrade from Frontpage) After spending about 40 hours on hold, they told me that they do not have the technology yet. I have a little trouble understanding when I could publish perfectly fine with the old platform.

Anyway, has anyone had a good experience with a webserver? And have you published with Expression Web at this site?

You should really rephrase your question I thought you were asking about web server software (Apache, IIS, WebSphere). Suggest using the phrase web hosting company.

I work for a web hosting company and we have Front Page Extensions running on our Linux and Windows hosting servers. I haven't personally supported people using Expression Web with Front Page Extensions but I know that our servers work with Front Page 2003. Most clients use FTP of course. That is always an option.

But his may be of some help to both of you:

Expression Web does not require any server-side technology such as FrontPage Server Extensions. However, you can use Expression Web to manage and even modify your FrontPage Web site, including those sites that reside on servers that have FrontPage Server Extensions installed. As noted earlier, you will no longer be able to add new Web components that rely on FrontPage Server Extensions using Expression Web.

You see frontpage and treh server extensions are entirely obsoltele and only kept now as legacy support for frontpage users.

As metweek says most people either use FPT or our inbuitl File manager. We use cPanel on our systems.
