What is the best way to secure control panel access to multiple web developers?
Multiple websites are hosted with one hosting company, however only one control panel is provided for both sites. Each website has a different technical contact person. What’s the best way of providing secure access? FTP only access can be granted to each tech contact, but they may need control panel access to set up/modify SQL DBs etc.

The concern: In providing full control panel access, how does one really know what the technical contact is up to (i.e. is there a way to prevent/detect the tech from providing back door access for himself for the future, etc.)

Suggestion welcome.

I would lean towards providing only FTP and Sql access. They can connect to the database using a front end tool for the database of choice. There are free options for all the popular databases.
