Installing PHP..... why doesn't it work.
I have installed IIS on my work laptop, I than tried running the php auto-installer from php.net and tried accessing a small php file on my PC.

Instead of it opening in the browser it tried to download the file.

I did some googling on it and found that this can happen when using the auto-installer and that it is better to use the manual installation method.

So uninstalled php, downloaded the manual files, went through the installation following instructions from here: http://www.php.net/manual/en/install.windows.manual.php

everything went well, no problems, yet the file still tries to download instead of open.

What am I doing wrong?
