Problem connecting to an Apache Server
My friend has an Apache Server that he setup with his windows vista system Apache/2.0.59 (Win32) PHP/5.2.5 with a mysql database and he's using his wan ip why wouldn't I be able to connect to it? Anytime I put the ip in my browser it times out.

If he is using a router,he needs to set a static IP on his computer
and add it to DMZ (demiliterized zone) on his router.
Can other people access the server?

Either that or setup the router to port forward port 80 traffic to the machine running the web server.

Peace...
