Good Afternoon,

If you use $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'] you can return the IP address of the client.

Then using this, you could create a log of people in a database, or log file of peopl that have viewed.

E.G
PHP Code:
//INSERT CONNECTION DETAILS AND ALSO DATABASE SELECT
$ip $_SERVER['REMOTE_ADDR'];
mysql_query("INSERT INTO tracking (ip) VALUES ('$ip')",$con);
THat is just an example above, you'll need to provide the connection details etc for the script to work.

Hope it helps.

Regards,
Anthony

EDIT: You should only add this to the home page to be honest, this way it'll give you a more realistic count as oppose to every page, unless you wanted to track what page they viewed aswell.
