sort() , PHP
I've just written a lengthy code around 1000 lines long, i'm nearly complete but i've hit a problem !

Let me explain what i need to do.

I have 4 vairables : $Ffinalsum, $Ffinalsumtwo, $Ffinalsumthree, $Ffinalsumfour.
They are all random numeric values which are generated under IF's in the rest of the PHP

I need theese ordering, I believe Sort() or sort_numeric does this some how.

Then ... I need to out put 4 vairables, Highest value would output $place1 = " Winner ";, Second highest would output, $place2 = " 2nd Place ! "; and so on .....

Thanks James

I think you can only use sort() - or sort_numeric() - for arrays, so you would have to create an array instead of the four variables.

FYI sort() is a boolean function, so you can test whether it was successful.

You need those four variables' value sorted alphabetically?
