currently, I'm looking for a web hosting company to start an e-commerce and the one I'm currently using has causing downtime a lot(Dreamhost). so, I need to find a new web hosting service. I have searched a lot, but no clue on how each servers uptime will be and support. I need one that provides SSL, Delicated IP and GOOD uptime and tech support. Any recommendations ?

Well I perosnally host websites lol and have a 99.5% up time lol, check out my site and send me a email if you would like, my site is not completly done yet. But if you would like another one is GoDaddy.com, they offer SSL as well and cheap hosting rates, and a great uptime as well.

As far as hosting sites, I do that through my bosses server, who I do free lance work for and I don't advertise his servers on my site. If you would like pricing information I would be more than happy to get it for you. How much space are you looking for, Both HDD space and Bandwidth

webhost4life.com (windows and Linux servers) with very affordable SSL

siteground.com (cPanel) and SSL (free domain name!)

grabweb.net (Plesk) windows or Linux, (OsCommerce Shopping cart)

Ok, just make sure you've heard legit, positive reviews, as there many shady hosting companies out there.
