Question Can I get some suggestions?
I need some suggestions to make my site better and more popular. It doesn't have much content now, Untill I get some suggestions on what kind of content to incorporate into the site. I also need more listings in search engines. I would be very greatful for some tips to make my site get a lot more traffic.

The site is cntnut.webs.com

First, I would take a CLOSE look at the JavaScript code you're using. I just viewed your site and McAfee VirusScan detected a JavaScript virus!

View the site at your own risk!!!!!

Peace...

I didn't detect a virus (yet...) from your site and it looks promising, but it needs a bit of work. Firstly, the background image could be darkened so as not to detract from the main content. The music seems a bit odd as well... Sometimes when I click on a link the window resizes (which is kinda annoying) and shout.php does not get parsed by the server and is displayed as text.

But other than that, it looks great and with a little work it should be an awesome site

Any ideas on how to make a working shoutbox? I will remove the background. And then any suggesions for what other content I can add to the site other than that and my forums.
thank you for the feedback.

The site is supposed to be about networking and support. Anything computer related or in the general area of conversing about how to troubleshoot. Kind of like this site, but obviously not as good. =). But I would like to add a working shoutbox to the site so that people can talk in real time. kind of like a chat room. so really there are multiple things I would consider. Any suggestions at all? I really need som help with content. maybe having my site able to have people post articles? Any help on doing it is also appreciated. I am not an expert at web codes, so I need some scripts maybe for the shoutbox or other cool additions to the site.

I found some shoutbox scripts here. Also, look at www.hotscripts.com for some other scripts.

Thanks for the link, I am going to check it out now.

P.S. The scripts are from freewebs, so I doubt they have a virus, I would consider it if i had got them from somewhere else. thanks though. Has anybody posted on cntnut.webs.com/forums.htm ?
