IE: span display: none
I have this code:
Quote:
<tr><td><form method="post" action="/viewuser.php?view&u=1"><a
href="viewgame.php?view&u=37">BFMi</a></td><td><input type="hidden" name="sub_type" value="game_edit"><input type="hidden" name="games" value=37><span style="font-size: 8pt;" id="edit37"><a
href="javascript:toggle_edit_box(37);" ">(Completed)</a></span><span style="display: none;" id="dropdown37"> <select name="status" onchange="this.form.submit()"><option value="3">Completed</option><option value=0>Not yet played</option><option value=1>On hold</option><option value=2>Currently playing</option><option value=4>Abandoned</option><option value="3">------------------------</option><option value=5>Remove from list</option></select><noscript><input type="submit" name="submit" value="Submit"></noscript></form>

</span></td></tr><tr><td>
It works fine in Opera and Firefox (span style display none should not show up). But in IE, that span shows up for some reason. Any idea why?

I don't know why IE is misbehaving but you should swap your closing form and span tags, since they are out of order.

Peace...
