Solved: using php to create a recusrive file list
I've been scowing the internet trying to find some php code for this but I'm met with no solution. All I'm trying to do is get php to go recursively through some directories and get a list of files with sizes to then be put into a mysql database.

Here's the output I'm looking for:
Directory1
files - size (in KB or MB if possible, if not, in bytes is fine)
Directory2
files - size
and so on.
I don't want the directory before the file names for searching reasons. If there such a way to do this? Thank you.

I'm running Slackware 12 with php 5.2.6, mysql 5.0.51, and apache 2.2.8

you might check these out
http://lixlpixel.org/recursive_function/php/

if it isn't what you want, you can at least use the code there as a base for what you're trying to achieve.

Thanks for the link. I've tried that one before. Altho this time I really dug through the code. I suppose I'm still pretty new to php. I finally after a couple hours of trial and error got it to do exactly what I was looking for. Thanks again.
