Forbidden and no permission to access
Hi, I made a quick website for my work and one day a picture stopped showing for some reason. After making sure it was still in the correct folders and hadn't been moved i reloaded the website and it did not show up, i got

Forbidden

You don't have permission to access / on this server.
Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Apache/2.0.63 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.0.63 OpenSSL/0.9.8b mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 PHP/5.2.6 Server at www.fugh.org Port 80

I keep trying to delete and put the files back in the directory but i either get this error message (above) or I get a listing of all the pages and folders that shouldn't be seen.

Any help would be appreciated and anything else i need to add please let me know.

run a chmod 755 on the picture file that isnt showing up.

Whats most likely happening is it is set up such that apache doenst have read permission for the file.

check the webroot directory setting in the httpd.conf file. It's possible that its thinking the website is stored elsewhere on the filesystem.

Check that the directoryIndex is set to serve index.html index.php

Check that the read permissions on the html files are -rwxr-xr-x (if not run chmod 755 filename)

*edit* also check that you dont have a .htaccess file set up to block the site
