PHP app network setup help
Hello! I have a php-based application that I would like to setup up for our company but am kinda dumb when it comes to the network aspect. I have the thing working locally on my machine, and would like to extend use to others on the network.

At this point can how can others connect to my web server or how do I go about installing it on our network server since the "localhost" portion of the setup is different from a standard pc on the network?

Its Windows based and the app requires the Apache/MySql combo to function which I have tackled with the XAMPP package.

Any help is appreciated!

Very simple really.

All they have to do is if they are on the same network as you then they browse to your machines IP in their web browser

http://192.168.0.1 (or whatever your IP is)

If you have a domain then you could also edit your DNS and add a new forward lookup with a name like "intranet"

Then your users would go to

http://intranet

IIRC you also have to enter the port the web server is running on (usually 80 or 8080).
