How to alter php script
Hi Everyone

I have just uploaded my first one page website to the internet where I will be selling an eBook.

But I wanted the product to be automatically sent to the customer once the payment had gone through PayPal.

I was advised to get a PayPal digital download script, and I purchased the script online.

The download did come with a readme file with brief instructions, but to be honest it does not make sense and I do not know what I need to do with the script.

Apparently the changes I need to make to personalise the script for my website are only made in the settings.php file. I opened the file but I do not know what I need to alter, so I would be grateful for help regarding this.

Also this is the first eBook I am marketing and have converted it from word to a PDF document. I would like to know if this is the correct format in which to sell eBooks?

Any help will be much appreciated for this newbie to web development.

Many thanks

Ice

I am pretty sure all the help you need in inside the readme file. Do not try to over analyze what you read. Just follow blindly the steps recommended.
You could also upload the readme.html file and post the link to it (URL) here so the tech people here can help you.

And PDF is probably the best way to sell it.

As far as getting it working, do what hollyhttp says. :-).
