Question Programming with laptop
Hallo people. My name is Sebastian and I'm planning to buy a laptop computer. I need it to web programing and design (dinamic sites with php, databases, Java, etc...) and maybe standart programming. I need to be strong for graphic design too (Adobe suite.) What do you recommand me? I have to consider also the price, it has to be good but not too expensive.
Thank you!

I'm currently using a more than 5 year old Toshiba laptop for all of the above with no problems, so anything new will do. I would recommend going for an entry level Toshiba or Dell laptop and staying well away from Acer and other 'bargain' brands if you want something that will last for more than a year or two.

A $500 Laptop will do more than what you are asking.

A $500 laptop will not handle heavy graphics development well.

I guess your definition of "strong for graphic design" is different from mine.

Thank you all for the info. Dell seems to be a good choice, for what I've heard.
