Solved: where do i place the robots txt file
I understand that the robots txt file must go in the root folder. But I'm not sure which one is the root folder. Here is an image, which one do I select. Thanks

You should select the Web Root.

Web Root like stated above. If you don't want to hide any info from search engines, a robot .txt file is not needed.

Put it in root directory of your file manager
