Can't align text box on all browsers
Hi, I'm trying to build a page using SharePoint designer, and when I look on IE8, on my own monitor, everything looks great. When friends look at it with different versions or different browsers (firefox, safari, ie7) the text is not aligned on the right. It's either too long, or too narrow. (www.ctmsolutions.net)

I am thinking that if I change the width from pixels to percentage that this will work, however I'm not sure how to change that part of the code. (I keep trying)

Here is the code that needs adjusting:

<div style="position: absolute; width=720px; z-index: 2; left: 204px; top: 303px" id="layer2" class="style2">
<a href="mailto:ctmsolutions@ctmsolutions.com">
<img style="border: 0" id="img7" src="button29.jpg" height="20" width="100" alt="Contact" onmouseover="FP_swapImg(1,0,/*id*/'img7',/*url*/'button2A.jpg')" onmouseout="FP_swapImg(0,0,/*id*/'img7',/*url*/'button29.jpg')" onmousedown="FP_swapImg(1,0,/*id*/'img7',/*url*/'button2B.jpg')" onmouseup="FP_swapImg(0,0,/*id*/'img7',/*url*/'button2A.jpg')" /><!-- MSComment="ibutton" fp-style="fp-btn: Embossed Rectangle 5; fp-font-color-normal: #003333; fp-font-color-hover: #FFFFFF; fp-font-color-press: #006666" fp-title="Contact" --></a>
<img style="border: 0" id="img8" src="button2F.jpg" height="20" width="100" alt="905.505.0507" onmouseover="FP_swapImg(1,0,/*id*/'img8',/*url*/'button30.jpg')" onmouseout="FP_swapImg(0,0,/*id*/'img8',/*url*/'button2F.jpg')" onmousedown="FP_swapImg(1,0,/*id*/'img8',/*url*/'button31.jpg')" onmouseup="FP_swapImg(0,0,/*id*/'img8',/*url*/'button30.jpg')" /><!-- MSComment="ibutton" fp-style="fp-btn: Embossed Rectangle 5; fp-font-color-normal: #003333; fp-font-color-hover: #FFFFFF; fp-font-color-press: #006666" fp-title="905.505.0507" --><br />

I have no experience of SharePoint designer so can't comment on how it works.
Try running your site through w3validator, although only a few errors it says you are missing a closing tag.
Ideally all your styles should be on a separate style sheet and not mixed through out your html. Presume the software allows you to do this.
When placing pictures on your site, resize them before putting them on as you will still be trying to load the full size image and will slow page load time.
Be careful of using italics, they can be hard for some to read.
