Google 'Buy Now' Button a little dynamic?
Hi All

At the checkout stage of my website, I am using the standard Google 'Buy Now' HTML code as follows:

<form action=https://checkout.google.com/api/chec...17797650943131 id="BB_BuyButtonForm" method="post" name="BB_BuyButtonForm">
<input name="item_name_1" type="hidden" value="Order from World of Clogs.com"/>
<input name="item_description_1" type="hidden" value="*Please refer to your receipt for a breakdown of your order*"/>
<input name="item_quantity_1" type="hidden" value="1"/>
<input name="item_price_1" type="hidden" value="100.00"/>
<input name="item_currency_1" type="hidden" value="GBP"/>
<input name="_charset_" type="hidden" value="utf-8"/>
NETQUOTEVAR:OCC_VALUES
<TABLE BORDER="0" CELLSPACING="0" CELLPADDING="0" WIDTH="600">
<TR><TD ALIGN=CENTER>

<font face="arial" color="#999999" size ="2"><b>______________________________</b><br></font><br>
<input type="submit" name="submit3" value="Make Payment with Google Checkout"><p>
<input alt="" src="https://checkout.google.com/buttons/...text&loc=en_GB" height="44" width="168" style="border:none" type="image"/>
</TD></TR>
</TABLE>
</form>

This seems to work absolutely fine. However - I wish to make the button dynamic in that I wish it to forward whatever the Checkout Total is to Google. This seems to work fine with Paypal and I usually just replace the price value with "${amount}" (I am using an early version of Actinic). Is there a way around this or do Google just not allow a dynamic value??

I would appreciate any help that you can give me here!

Cheers - Rob

I think web development is a closer fit for this post.

Isn't this in web development..?!

I thought using Buy Now just to take the order total through Google would be easy... (I realise that the customer will not get a comprehensive breakdown of their order without human intervention but initially just getting the order through google checkout is my priority).

I don't really want to add the whole Google cart to my website at this time.
