Solved: Is it possible to check contact e-mail from any website ?
Hello,

I have some (maybe strange) question. Is it possible to check contact e-mail from any website ? Sometimes it is impossible to see contact e-email from some page but maybe there is some trick to check it.

What I use to do is analyze page by Alexa (http://www.alexa.com/) and there is 'Contact Info' option but I don't know if it works correctly. Any idea ?

Regards,

Public contact information for a particular web site is available from the WHOIS system. www.whois.net is one of many sites that make it easy to look up.

I have tried this site but it doesn't give me useful information. There is not any contact information.

I've tried it too. I have several .co.uk domains but it can't even find them.

Some domain registrars allow the person or company registering a website domain to have a privacy option so when you look up the domain on WHOIS it gives the domain company's contact info instead of the person or company that registered the domain.

For .uk addresses, try this site: http://www.nominet.org.uk/ (Look for the WHOIS box at the top-right.)

For most other domains, you can look it up at www.whois.net

Thank you MMJ. The page who.is seems to be better.
