Solved: free blogs or free hosting ?
Which is best to have a free blog: free hosted blog like wordpress.com or blogger, or looking for free website hosting services and install there my blog, in that case I'll have more control (in the hosting site I like to use there's only ads on the sidebar of the site but it's not disturbing me so much) but I'm not sure about the indexing in search engines: will they see my blog ? and if there're other problems please tell me all.

That is a matter of opinion I guess.
If you go with Wordpress.com, they will not allow you to install your own plugins. You need your own Wordpress site to do that.

Thanks for answering Squashman, from this point, I mean the plugins and the customised template, of course I prefer free hosting, I'm just wondering about search engines, I got a website hosted for free and it was almost invisible (not SEO problem I did lot of researchs and did my best to optimize) but I noticed that blogs on wordpress or blogger are verry available on search engines. Any more ideas ?

I would say it depends on your site, technical knowledge and what your intent is.

Hosted blogs are easy to use and great for learning the basics of Wordpress and blogging. But if you want to be able to play with plugins and learn Wordpress in more depth then you need your own hosting.

Proper hosting is pretty cheap these days, so I'd only suggest using free hosting if you're just playing with things. You can host as many domains as you like with some hosting companies - so if cost is a problem, maybe you could share the account with friends?

It's a matter of personal preference. I've tried both blogger and wordpress, as well as coded my own blog for a private website. I prefer blogger and it's what I use as my primary blog now.

You can sign up for hosting anywhere it doesn't have to be local to you. I am in Spain and my hosts are in the US and I pay 1$ a month for one small hosting plan and $1.99 a month for my larger one with unlimited domains so do a search around. I use 3ix.org and webhostingpad.com I have had no issues with either BUT I do know that others have had some problems.
