Can't Get Into PayPal Three days ago, I was unable to load the PayPal website on Google Chrome, Internet Explorer or FireFox. After playing around with Firewalls etc, I was able to load the page through FireFox, only to be brought to a page after I log in requesting a whole bunch of personal information. I tried to put through what I could, and the site asked me to download a security certificate to my computer. I did this, but my computer did not like it and would not allow it to run.
The next day I tried to get on again, but could not from my computer once again, so tried a friend's computer (who is also on my network). I was brought again to a page requesting proof of ID etc; which also stated that if not sent through within 24 hours I may need to provide proof of ID every time I log in. It also said I would gain access to my site within minutes of sending through the requested information which included ID, picture of me holding my ID, and back and front pictures of my credit card. I thought this was strange; however, since PayPal regularly inconveniences me with these types of things; I figured it was standard procedure.
Next day I still can't log in. I also can't contact PayPal because every time I click on the "contact us" link, it brings me right back to the log in page. In fact, when I tried to log in from my friend's computer today, I could not load the PayPal website from his (when I could the day before).
I don't know what to do, and since I need PayPal to run my business, I need to gain access but can't fix the problem myself and can't contact PayPal to sort it out.
Please help, I'm at a loss!
