I've noticed a marked delay every time I click a link or type a URL in my browser. Several seconds usually. I have a 60Mb cable connection and speed test shows 52.9 down and 2.7 up.

This is becoming very annoying. I'm with Virgin Media here in the UK. Anything I can do about it please?

Your ISP may have slow DNS servers.
You might try running namebench to find a faster server.

There is also opendns but I don't know what the availablility is for thye UK.

I know it says premium dns but it's free.
