Using Excel ( MS office 2010) would like to know how to take a snapshot or copy a highlighted section and paste it in yahoo mail body without losing data configuration. Want it to paste as it is exactly. I have used the camera option that will take a picture of the copied section and allow me to move it anywhere in the spreadsheet, but not paste it in an email body.

to attach a picture of the spreadsheet - try using the snipping tool (if you have vista or windows 7)
start > all programs > accessories > snipping tool

you can then select any part of the spreadsheet and save as a image and then attach the image to your yahoo email

etaf..........thanks for the quick reply. I did try that and that option will work when I want to 'take' a pic and attach. I know there Is a way to capture a viewable section and then paste in the body of the email so that it is seen when the email is opened and not have to be downloaded as a pic, etc. I know i can copy and paste in the email but i lose column and data alignment when i do that normally. I have received emails in the past that have it pasted just like a pic, but it's right there on the screen...

i suspect that a function of how the email client works - i get the same - an attachment and the picture displayed- hopefully others here will have what you are looking for

This is what I do for Gmail and I just tested it with the new version of yahoo mail.
I copy the cells from Excel to Word.
Then I copy it again from Word and then paste it into the body of the email.
