Explorer 9 not displaying some websites
Hi folks,

I'm having a few problems with Explorer 9 not displaying some webpages, such as the BBC iPlayer page (just a blank black page). Other pages display wrongly, such as Twitter and my own website. They work - but the text/graphics aren't quite where they should be.

I've done an AVG virus search and a Malware Bytes search and both were clean. I'm sure I have some kind of bug though - but don't know how to find it.

Also, the webpages I refer to work fine in Chrome - but I prefer IE9.

Any help would be gratefully received.

Andy

PS Forgot to say, I reset Explorer 9, uninstalled back to IE8 and reinstalled IE9. No difference.

Yep. No problem there. Can also see the OIympics coverage via the BBC Olympics page. Video no problem, apart from the iPlayer site won't load.

If you have the AVG LinkScanner, try disabling it.

Tried that - same issue. I'm getting loads of messages now with the browser going into compatibility mode - on most webpages now. It's getting worse and worse.

No, how would I do that? I'm pretty sure it's more something to do with malware but I can't find out what malware it is so that I can remove it.
