Question turn XP into a web server
How can do you turn XP into a web server. I would like to create a web site that contains a database which uses php. I do not wish to publish this on the web at present, as it will take months to write the database, but i do wish to use the database as i write it.

I have been told that making an Ancillary Network and installing IIS would work.If so can anyone give me any instructions on how to do it as i havn't a clue.

I am currently using Windows XP Home Edition Service Pack 1 with a Dell Inspiron 2650 - Pentium 4.

I use this server software on my work xp pro machine.
Very stable and has php and mysql support. It's very stable and if it does crash it will restart itself.
I've used it for php webpages, etc. The downside is that it doesn't support frontpage web or databases since they are proprietary to MS, but still a very nice package.
