Hello

I bearly got SBC Yahoo! DSL. The modem they sent says i have to have to modem on for 10 days. Does anybody know why?

that is for you to be able to optimize ur modem's performance. nothing serious actually.

They ask you to leave it on for 10 days so they can monitor the speeds your getting.... they "open" or "push" more speed your way if you are not up to par.
