Question Hotmail Message
I keep getting an e-mail in my hotmail account supposedly from staff@hotmail.com telling me to "Please visit hotmail.com" and containing the following body:

Dear Jon

To help protect our users from automatically generated junk e-mail (or spam), MSN Hotmail periodically asks for identity verification.

Please go to http://www.hotmail.msn.com and follow the instructions. It takes only a few minutes and you can then return to using your Hotmail account.

Thank you for helping us to help reduce your junk e-mail.
Sincerely,
MSN Hotmail Staff

Please do not reply to this e-mail as this is an unmonitored alias.

Interestingly when I hover over the link http://www.hotmail.msn.com (in Outlook) its actually a different address, http://g.msn.com/1HMDEN/13292??PS=&DI=1059. This strikes me as quite dodgy. Is this a scam or is it a legitimate verification process?

Appreciate anyone's help.

Thanks,

Jon

OK, I just tried to delete it and it keeps coming back. Also nothing else is showing in my Inbox, this is in Outlook. When I attempt to access it on the web it asks for that verification thing where u type in what u c so it can check its not an automated process. I'm scared to type it in tho...
