The "radio box" translates between (radio) signals coming through air and ethernet. DSL modem translates between signals coming through phone line and ethernet. Cable modem translates between signals coming through coax cable and ethernet.
For purposes of this thread I think we can consider the radio box as a modem.
OK, I agree that it's probably a problem with your PC. Here's one remote possibility. Network Connections - right click on your connection - Properties - Authentication tab. If IEEE 802.1x authentication is enabled, try without it.
Did you previously (previous ISP) have a successful connection between this router and this PC?
