Eye sight damage from computer use?
I spend 3 hours a day on a computer for the past 3 years. I also notice
my eye sight strength is weakening. I am also at an age where that is
natural to occur.

My question, can looking at a computer screen have harmful effects?
Longterm,short term,permanent or temporary?

I have been using a computer for about 17 years, I did it for 8 to 10 hours a day before I retired and now about 3 hours a day and I still have 20/20 vision, I'm 67 years old, so I don't think looking at a computer screen will hurt your vision

I have the same experience at zookre. I too used a PC 8 to 10 hours at work for almost 12 years, and since I quit working 9 years ago, I am using the PC for at least the same amount of time. I have experienced no deterioration in my vision due to PC use, and I'm 70 years old.

I think you're O.K., sharky!
