Solved: Hotmail Virus?
I just tried to check my e-mail today and Avast! pops up saying a virus was found when I go to my inbox. I've no choice but ot abort connection and delete the file. I tried several times to get ot my inbox, but still, the same thing comes up.

I'm doing a scan now to see if anything's lurking, but otherwise I've no idea what's going on. It just start today, just now to be exact.

I don't know if I'm posting in the right forum...but I'll take any help.

hello i already posted a log at my previous post, however a scan using Spybot Search and Destroy already got rid of the problem, but I'd still like to check if there is anything else going on, hence why i haven't marked the thread solved

Although I deleted the file its back again & now I have adverts popping up from av internet security.
Ive sent them a lengthy email telling them what I think about them hijacking my browser.
There seems to be a hole somewhere as just from browsing viruses keep hopping into my tempoary internet files folder.
Ive scanned 3 times now & removed a different file each time but another one appears as soon as I go on the internet
