I have beeb having issue with yahoo messenger. When I try to log in to messenger, I am able to complete the log in then yahoo messenger disapears frommthe screen and the following is displayed:

The exception Breakpoint
A breakpoint has been reached.
(0x80000003) occurred in the application at location 0x04fe57d2.

Click OK to terminate program
Click CANCEL to debug the program

I have attempted both as well as an unistall and reinstall of the program with no change.
I tried acouple of other solutions offered on other sites with no success. I was told about your site from a guy I consider smart about computers. He assured me I would not go away unsatisfied.

Well....while i can't provide you with a direct solution to your problem i can offer you a temporary "Band-Aid" solution until someone else comes up with a true solution for you....try using Yahoo!'s Web Messenger service until someone has some idea about how to tackle that issue.

Kill yahoo messenger through the task manager.
Kill explorer.exe through the task manager.
Start explorer.exe using the "New task" option through the task manager
Launch the messenger and try to login, it should work
