Copy it to the Program Files\Outlook Express folder and put another copy in the C:\Windows\system32 folder. That should cover it.

Msoe.DLL/9xmig.dll, I can't find downloads, Help?
I don't know how to 'unsolve' this...I am still having issues.

Original Thread
http://forums.techguy.org/web-email/...easy-what.html

I need to download and replace the following two files and I can't find them to download!
Msoe.dll (FOR VERSION 5.50.4807.1700) and 9xmig.dll

I know what to do with the Msoe.DLL file, download and replace in the outlook and system folders...do I do the same with the 9xmig.dll?

The OE version is 5.50.4807.1700..can someone help me find those to files and tell me where to put them once i find them? We can see both now in the OE folder, I guess just delete and replace?

TIA

Kindest regards!
Christine

Right click on original files and rename Old.
Install new dll files.

Finally have a chance to address this.

Thank you for the files.

I have downloaded them both and renamed the MSOE and 9xmig files old, I want to be sure it's right, they should say MSOEold.DLL or MSOE.dllold ??? I'm sorry!

Once we rename, I move both files into PROGRAMFILES/OUTLOOK EXPRESS folder.

I also was told to put the MSOE.dll a copy in the system32 folder? Do I do the same iwth the 9xmig./dll?

Thanks a heap!

Christine

OK. I've merged your threads and removed the posts where we arranged it since they are not relevant and make the thread messy.

Good luck.

Thanks Elvandil.

I am just not sure if I copy BOTH files into the system32 folder.

Try it. It certainly won't hurt and doubles the chances that an app needing those dll's will find them.
