That one doesn't work for me either. You can go here: http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/welcome to see if your Shockwave and Flash Players are updated, and mine are. So that's not the reason why all of us can't watch all of these videos.

I think I've solved my problem. I have the Google Web Accelerator installed in my browser, and after I disabled it, I could play videos fine. If anyone has this running as well, this might be your problem.

If problem occurs again and again, optimize the browser with the steps on http://computers-quickfixes.blogspot.com/ and re-register the dll files by going to varun.notlong.com and run the a.bat MS DOS batch file.

I've Found It all you have to do is click on the non-working video go to the URL bar at the top of the screen and add &fmt=18 then press enter it plays the video!

Aha! Genius! Thank you it works now!

I think the &fmt=18 at the end of it tricks Youtube into thinking it is giving you a hi-def version when sometimes it is not, and since only hi-def videos work for ppl who have this problem, viola!

I've also found out if you have Google's web accelerator stop it when you get to Youtube.
Because it sends it through Google instead of your normal what ever you use, Google blocks some videos from streaming.

YouTube Buffers but will not play
Youtube vids worked last year. Then they only worked each time I logged on. Now they show the loading screen and I hear bytes but when they get to the end, they won't replay. They just start buffering again.
I removed and reinstalled Adobe Flash. I cleared Internet Explorer cookies, browsing history, and temp files. Removed Quicktime. Youtubes still go to loading screen only.

Please share your knowledge. Thank you
