Angry Outlook Express Problem
I have had the same Email adress for 10 years with no problem. All day today when I try and open Outlook Express it will not let me do anything. On bottom right it says authorizing but nothing opens.Login box keeps poping up with user and PW already in.Never had this before. It usually just opens and I can read my mail.I click OK on Login box,it disappears for a minute, then reappears.Still no mail. Then it says PW rejected.I tried system restore but will not restore.I have not downloaded anything new for a while-So why am I having problems now?How do I go in and reset my User and PW so I can get my mail again?

The password needs to be reset either by your ISP (if that's your e-mail account provider) or by the e-mail account provider (Hotmail, GMail, Yahoo!, etc.).

After password reset, Go to OE tools --accounts--account to be highlighted and then click properties and in that retype the password and save password settings.

OR delete the account but write down all the settings on a paper first. Then shutdown the computer for 5 minutes and after restart recreate the account with the new password.

Either of this would surely work.
