Hyperlinks not working
I am having trouble following hyperlinks from certain sites especially facebook. When I try to click on certain links nothing happens, I don’t even get the option to copy and paste the link into the browser bar. I am using IE 0.6 and have had a look through previously posted messages but I only found one thing which I tried but it didn’t work

I tried running REGSVR32 URLMON.DLL and then restoring from the IE tools menu

Please help
Thanks

1. Go to Start / Run
2. Then enter regsvr32 urlmon.dll
3. Click Ok when finished
4. If that single change does not resolve the problem, repeat the process by running the following additional entries:
• regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
• regsvr32 Msjava.dll
• regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
• regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
• regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
• regsvr32 Browseui.dll
• regsvr32 Shell32.dll

or try1. Open Internet Explorer
2. Go to Tools / Internet Options
3. Click on the Programs tab
4. Click on the Reset Web Settings button

Hi yes I tried running regsvr32 urlmon.dll already but that didn’t work. I also reset web settings in IE and that did'nt work either.
I just tried running the list they all confirmed except for one. When I ran msjava.dll an error message came up saying
Loadlibrary("msjava.dll") failed - The specific module could not be found
What does that mean?

I have tried all but none has solved the problem. A friend told me that it may be that I need to upgrade my IE from 0.6 to 7.0 in order for sites such as facebook to work properly, and then maybe I might be able to follow the hyperlinks. Is this something that could work as I am running out of suggestions and I don't really know where to go from here?

Thanks

Hi

I have successfully installed IE7. I can now use all the sites I was having problems with except Facebook
I was told that Facebook uses some 'advanced' coding that won't function correctly in anything under IE 7 so i thought it would work but it didnt. I am getting a bit frustrated now as i have been trying to fix this problem for a few days. I cant find anyone to help, i cant even find technical support on the facebook site itself. Like I said before I am not very good at all this but I have tried everything suggested and nothing has worked.

Im not sure what to do now

Where did you find this link? I have been searching facebook for days to find a way to contact them with my problem but I just kept getting a list of troubleshooters. Maybe it’s because I couldn’t click on any of the troubleshooter headings to get far enough for the contact us enquiry form.

I am now going to submit the form to facebook and I will let you know what happens.
(Fingers crossed)
