can't opten inernet options anywhere
I think this happened when I was trying to download AOL, which is vertually impossible without everytime I reboot my laptop I get a message saying that AOL needs for files and to download and reboot - but then I get the same message when rebooted. But not being able to open my tools in internet options is driving me crazy, too. I click on it on internet explorer and my control panel and it's like it's just a dead link. I don't know how to post a HiJack for someone to look at. Pleae help!!!!!

Hi renaewithana,

What happens when you right click the IE icon on the Desktop and choose Properties?
Which version of IE(6 or 7) and what Operating System (XP,Vista)?
Also, until things get straightened out, you might consider installing a second browser (Firefox, Opera, etc.) so you don't have to worry about losing Internet access while trying to fix IE.
